LV-976 (Thermae I) is a terrestrial world in orbit of a M3 V Red Dwarf subsequently named “Thermae”. Thermae is 1/100 luminous as Sol, and holds two planets (Thermae I & II) within its gravitational well. Excluding loose debris and Thermae 1A and 1B, the system is devoid of any other permanent planetoids or terrestrial bodies.

Thermae I was discovered by automated probe in 2112 by the United American - Peruvian Space Program and colonization rights were subsequently claimed by the ECA, [[W-Y|Weyland Yutani]], and Gemini Exoplanet Solutions. * Earlier versions of Sorokyne featured an underground sewer system connected via ladders at each generator shed. The second Z level was scrapped relatively early on into development.
* Originally each generator shed provided power only to local structures, though due to a bug with the Almayer powernet, independent power networks were removed, deprecating this design decision mid-development.
